Alright, is everybody rested? Calmed down? A little tequila and Tecate to relax you after a week-long thrillride of volleyball? One that took you to Gulf Shores (or your couch, watching ESPN) for the NCAA Championships — congratulations, UCLA — or to Huntington Beach (or your couch, watching on Amazon Prime) for the AVP season opener — congratulations, Jake Gibb and Taylor Crabb and April Ross and Alix Klineman — or to Malaysia (or your couch, watching via YouTube live) for a three-star in Kuala Lumpur — congrats on silver, Kerri Walsh Jennings and Brooke Sweat.

This week is, blessedly, a little calmer. Here’s what’s coming before we hit the ground running again next week:

College Beach Volleyball

  • What: USAV Beach Collegiate Championships
  • 32-team draw, double-elimination format
  • TV: Finals will be televised on NBC
