This Week in Beach Volleyball: AVP New York City to Feature Fully-loaded Field

There is one place to look this weekend if you are to search for high level beach volleyball: New York City, for AVP NYC. Everyone, for the first and possibly last time of the entire year, is home.

Nobody — aside from a couple of qualifier hacks in Kyle Friend and I, who are fleeing to La Paz, Mexico, for a NORCECA — is skipping AVP New York City. There are no four-stars to jet to. No Olympic qualifiers to play. Just one AVP, in a star-studded field.

If you can’t make it to New York City, then I cannot recommend enough that you tune into the tremendous live-streaming product on Amazon Prime. This is not one to miss.
