Her passion for creating nutrient rich recipes began at an early age. Her summers spent with her grandparents consisted of days filled with deliciously fresh and flavorful meals, lovingly prepared with quality ingredients bought daily from local merchants. Simple, seasonal food was the center of her daily life and she savored it.

When Sylvie began facing health challenges, she turned to food as a remedy. Through her experience, she realized food had healing powers that could help her feel better and improve her overall health. Sylvie desires to help everyone, not only those who face health challenges or dietary restrictions, to take control of their health and wellness through food. The recipes she creates are free from gluten and processed ingredients and are inclusive to diets that require grain-free, paleo, vegan and raw foods. She makes food that is both healthy and enjoyable. One of her favorite recipes is her raw chocolate fudge topped with a layer of rich chocolate ganache and a sprinkle of cacao nibs for an extra crunch.

When creating new recipes, Sylvie draws inspiration from a variety of things. Sometimes she will walk through the market and find seasonal ingredients she can incorporate into her recipes. Other times, she will simply use what she has on hand and create a delectable meal from scratch.
