Film Room Friday: USC’s Tina Graudina Wins Thriller Over Finland in Las Vegas
If you haven’t yet had the chance to catch a USC match this season, you’re missing out. Trojan court one blocker Tina Graudina has established herself as one of the best talents not just in all of college volleyball, but as one of the most promising players in the world.
A 5-foot-11 21-year-old, Graudina, who competes for Latvia on the world tour after her season with USC is over, was awarded the 2018 FIVB Rookie of the Year.
In this match, a first-round pool play bout in p1440 Las Vegas against Finland’s Taru Lahti and Anniina Parkkinen, Graudina, playing alongside Anastasija Kravcenoka, won a fantastic match, 21-16, 19-21, 17-15.
