EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT p1440
What is p1440?

p1440 was created from the vision of three-time Olympic gold medalist and one-time Olympic bronze medalist, Kerri Walsh Jennings and husband Casey Jennings’ way of life: to live every minute of the day with purpose—all 1,440 of them. p1440 is an event series encompassing a professional beach volleyball tournament, personal development experiences, a music festival and a health & wellness village. The event series will be supported 24/7 by a powerful digital online community that will provide constant inspiration and an abundance of resources to support living an optimal life. It is a movement that goes beyond the lines in the sand, encouraging all to live the p1440 lifestyle regardless of age, gender, profession or geographic location.

What can I expect at a p1440 event?

p1440 was founded upon four pillars—competition, development, health & wellness and entertainment. There will be activations and elements that will focus on each one of these pillars. Attendees will be able to watch the professionals play and find themselves doing circuit training or yoga, dancing to music, eating with friends and family, listening to professionals give health & wellness tips or shopping for a memento to carry the p1440 lifestyle beyond the weekend. There will be a little something for everyone during the three-day event!

What will I find on p1440’s digital experience?

Coming in summer of 2018, p1440 will launch a digital experience, delivering content and resources to people anywhere in the world. p1440’s four pillars—competition, development, health & wellness and entertainment will outline the online community. Users will be able to train like athletes, stream matches and workouts, engage with nutritionists for recipes, discover new meditation practices, find athlete’s curated playlists, and most importantly, engage with one another within a supportive community.

What is p1440’s ultimate vision?

Through the event series and the digital community, p1440’s goal is to elevate the sport of beach volleyball, provide a credible platform for aspiring and professional athletes, grow the volleyball audience and become the leading resource for individuals to live a life full of intention. p1440 expects to have four million subscribers to its digital experience from all around the world by the end of 2021. This figure includes today’s volleyball fans, in addition to non-volleyball fans who are looking to live life fully.

Why create p1440?

The p1440 team saw an opportunity to elevate the game, not just to develop a professional volleyball series, but to interconnect the sport through events, personal development experiences, health & wellness and music, all while providing our world class athletes with something meaningful and viable to share with everyone. Through this movement, p1440 hopes to lift all boats as they raise the tide and invest in the sport of beach volleyball.
