BID Information and Qualifier Dates

Click here to register for upcoming p1440 qualifiers/bid tournaments and p1440 points events.

p1440 Junior Elite members automatically receive a bid to play in the Junior National Championship. Junior Elite members can play with a partner who does not have a Junior Elite membership, but that partner must have a Community Membership which they can purchase here. Junior Elite members playing with a non-Junior Elite member should fill out the registration since that bid number and junior elite member number will be required.

p1440 Junior Qualifying Tournaments receive 4 automatic bids into the Junior National Championship for 1st, 2nd, and two 3rd place finishes.

Bid requirements - 4 bids are awarded if a minimum of 5 teams are registered per age group. If less than 5 teams are registered per age group then only 2 bids will be awarded.

If a player or team who previously won a bid finishes in 1st, 2nd or 3rd place, then the subsequent bid will be awarded to the next highest finishing team or player. There may be a need to have a playoff for 3rd or 5th place to award these potential trickle down bids.

p1440 provides the hosting affiliate Tournament Directors with 1st, 2nd, and two 3rd place bid tickets and 1st & 2nd place prize packages for each division.

In order for a player to earn p1440 points which helps in the seeding process, there needs to be at least 4 teams competing in that age division. The more teams in an age group, the more points a player can earn. The older/higher age division a player competes in, the more points they are eligible to earn.

Registration

In order to compete in the p1440 Junior National Championship, a player must be a p1440 Community member and have a qualifying bid (boys & girls) or be a Junior Elite member (girls only). The boys tournament will be OPEN divisions and a bid is not required. p1440 Junior Elite members automatically earn a bid to the JNC. Read more about our Membership offerings here.

Bids are not guaranteed as spots are limited and registrations will only be accepted on a first come first served basis. Once each division is full, there will be no more registrations accepted. If a division is full then you will be put on the waiting list.

You must sign up with a partner for this event and one player registers the team. The fee is $300/team.

A registration link with a bid number will be emailed to all Junior Elite members and bid winners. You will register as a team so please only one player should register the team. All players competing in the event need a Junior Elite or Community membership. Purchase your membership here.
